Nikolina started her career in games during Rovio’s early days, where she held a title of Head of Production. Ekaterina (Katya) Dolgova

Ekaterina (Katya) Dolgova is a Human Resources professional with 20+ years of experience in Financial, Consulting, IT and Gaming industries. A lawyer and Chartered FCIPD by background, Katya has been working in the HR field since 1995. During her career Katya successfully completed over 15 acquisition deals across EMEA; opened 8 new locations in Russia, CIS, Eastern and Central Europe, Africa and China; facilitated employees’ representatives, Works Councils and Trade Union negotiations across Europe; hired more than 350 professionals and over 80 executives; developed and run employee engagement programs, assessment and development centers; leadership and culture transformation campaigns. Now in July 2019 Katya is a co-founder & COO of a Game Development studio in Helsinki – Redhill Games and an HR Consulting company in Cyprus – It Starts With You.

Osama Dorias

Osama Dorias is the Lead Game Designer at Warner Brothers Games Montreal. In the past, he has worked as a Game designer at Ubisoft, Gameloft, GEE Media, and Minority Media. He also teaches Game Design at Dawson College where he authored the Independent Game Design Program. Osama loves to empower people in expressing themselves through game making. He especially loves to give a voice to marginalized people and causes. He has hosted game jams, workshops and other community activities to this end, which has culminated in co-founding the Montreal Independent Games Awards. Osama is also currently the Chair of the IGDA’s Muslims in Games Special Interest Group.


Rufio is a person who wears many hats. Last year, they were awarded the honor of the 2018 Jamtivist and a few months later they set a world record when streaming themselves making music for 30 games during Global Game Jam. They are the writer for the Brazilian metroidvania “Dandara,” a queer activist featured in the book “Invisible Gender,” and are also the stand-up comedian who hosts the first ever live game dev comedy series “Funny = TRUE.” Today, Rufio is here to talk about how private things can become public and why no matter what you should never give up.

Anna Salomaa

Anna is the co-founder and CEO of Resistance Games, a PC strategy game studio located in Oulu, Finland. With 8 years of experience from the industry she has also worked in game start-ups, run gaming business development projects and lead the Oulu Game LAB, the game education program of Oulu University of Applied Sciences. She fell in love with digital gaming in the 80’s with The Great Giana Sisters, and never looked back.
